Bal Hanuman 2 will be directed and produced by Pankaj Sharma. The animation film will be made in 3D on May 14, 2010.The film is made under Astute Media Visions and previous movies released by the banner were Bal Hanuman, Bal Ganesh 1 and 2, Pangaa Gang. In the movie, Bal Hanuman will fight very powerful demons.

The movie “Kites” is about a man J who is left in a Mexican desert .One time J was a carefree street smart guy was but now he is wanted man and he is wounded or apparently dead .

In the midst of heat and sun, he has one thing to stay alive that is the love of his life Natasha, who is engaged to another man but he gets attracted to J. She has her destiny with J and she comes in the life of J like a lightning bolt and she changes his life forever.

The story is about the love that moves beyond the boundaries and barriers .It is intercultural love and the ruling word is passion. The movie is the journey of the two Natasha and J , who get their precious moments and also the betrayals.

The film “Aa Dekhen Zara” is a science fiction, a thriller where a camera predicts future and life of a young couple is captured by the camera and later it is also controlled by the camera. Neil Nitin Mukesh has taken up another thriller after “Johnny Gaddar” and the movie proves to be perfect for his image. Bipasha Basu as a dusky beauty opposite Neil and she is also impressive in the movie.

The film comes with supernatural subject were a wild life photographer Ray Acharya is jobless and he tries to find something in his grandad’s bag. He gets an old camera as legacy and he tries to take photographs from the camera. Ray loves to feed pigeon and he is in love with a DJ Simi. Once he is taking Simi’s photographs in his room and he discovers he got a photograph where Simi is being shot in a bar. Ray is shocked to see the photograph and he goes to save his girlfriend’s life.

As soon as Ray finds out about the superpowers possessed by the camera he goes out to make some financial benefits from the camera. He buys lottery tickets from the camera later he invests in horse race to make money from the superpowers of the camera. Then he gets into trouble as the gang men discover that he got the powerful camera that has been telling him future but Ray is cautioned by the camera that tells future and he is saved from shooter and the secret agents. But then the camera predicts surprising future for Neil and he has to fight the forces that are going against him and make use of the camera in a proper way.

Performance of Neil as a hero, who is smart but caught in a tough situation is brilliant and Bipasha Basu as a beautiful DJ is also fine. Both are looking gorgeous in the film. Direction of the movie is fine, songs are ok. Cinematography is fine. Although the movie losses grip in between but the final is ok and the movie will attract young audience.

The film “Jai Veeru” takes the friendship theme from “Sholay” and merges it up with other masala movies of 70’s , to get a package comprising of item numbers, dance, emotional sequences , comedy and action but the film fails to impress in any of these fields and the overall effect is rather nullified.

Jai is a mechanic and Veeru is a car stealer and both get together to form a burglar team although they don’t like each other. Jai wants to meet gangster Tejpal with the help of Veeru who is in love with a bikini girl, who comes out of the ocean. As the processes of running and chasing takes place, Jai is hit with a bullet on his skull and he takes medical treatment for the injury. A metal plate is implanted on his head and it is shown that Jai is married and settled with a nurse.

Then some kind of diary is traced by Veeru that contains telephone numbers and list of clients and contact numbers of the villain .The film’s direction is below average and script takes awful turns at unexpected moments. The overflow of masala elements fails to impress the audience. Nothing is exceptionally catchy or attractive. The comedy scenes fail to generate humor. Editing is not done properly. Cinematography is ok.

Kunal Khemu and Fardeen Khan appear ok (Kunal’s performance is better than Fardeen) and Anjana Sukhani and Dia Mirza’s performance is average. Arbaaz Khan, Govind Namdeo, Rajesh Khattar and Rakesh Bedi are ok. The film doesn’t have much appeal to get audience.

Horror flick ‘13B’ takes instances from the panic created by the number ‘13.’In the film, brilliant camera angles have been induced, to create horror and to scare people. “A family using electronics items and gazettes gets ghosts in its electrical appliances” – it is a new thought. The music and songs of the film have been choreographed well but placed abruptly in-between places where you don’t expect the movie to take a break from the real issue and the bad point is the exceeded length of the film.

The story of the movie is about a family that shifts to a new apartment flat on 13th floor that is called 13 B. Most of the family members are happily enjoying their stay in the new apartment and they feel growth in every aspect of their life but Manohar ,a civil engineer faces some unprecedented events in his life and he couldn’t get the clue ,what is happening and why? He tries to find out truths behind the events that scared him to fear death.

The depiction of script is perfect. Horror depiction with gazettes that make you feel something is following you everywhere you go, in night ,in dark and even in day time and light – is perfect. The family setting and members of the family resemble families living in metro cities and nothing looks abnormal.

Performance of Madhavan as a vulnerable young man, who can do nothing to fight the evil forces following him everywhere, is depicted wisely but you are not convinced to the final conclusion and the last part of the movie makes the movie “nothing special.” Many questions are kept unanswered and logic fails to impress.

Music of the film by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is good but horror film can be made without songs. Dialogues are impressive. Performance of Neetu Chandra is ok and Madhavan carries most of the part of the movie convincingly. Deepak Dobriyal gives a fine performance, Dhrtiman Chatterjee is good. Poonam Dhillon and Sachin Khedekar are ok.

The film is different for the regular horror stuff and it may get average audience response.

The film “Saas Bahu Aur Sensex” is like any of the Saas Bahu television show having actors Kirron Kher and Farooq Shaikh in lead roles but its advantage is that it finishes in three hours.The film tries to depict how homemakers and ladies going to kitties start spending in share markets and these housewives even watch business channels , read business magazines to excel in the money investment fields.

The film “Saas Bahu Aur Sensex” has a theme that every housewife who is elderly or young, should be financially independent and be prepared to face financial crunches, in case some thing very unpredictable happens like if they are ditched by their husbands in later ages.

The story of the film is about Binita Sen who is divorced and she shifts to a new area in Mumbai. She is in her later ages and has a college going daughter but she has no money to sustain her living style and her daughter starts going to call centre to earn money and Binita tries her hands in stock markets to get some financial support.

Binita is helped by a broker Sethna and her daughter gets helped in her job at a call centre by her neighbor Ritesh Jethmalani who loves his neighboring girl Kirti but Kirti is a girl who runs after money and in case she has nobody to marry ,she will marry Riteish.

The plot is that Binita tells her kitti party friends that she is investing money in stocks and all the ladies of her building start doing the same. After a few twists and turns it is found that if Kirti marries Riteish, it will be beneficial for the investing ladies and this part of the plot is very unreal.

The basic problem in the film is that the incidents appear artificial and even impossible and you don’t have comedy or drama or anything that catches you well or attract you to watch the movie with interest for long. It looks to be one of the weird tales that is shown in most of the Ekta Kapoor’s show.

The two actors Kiron Kher and Farroq Shekh are the attraction of the film but they are not all in the film and the director Shona Urvashi is not confident of what she has been trying to show. The movie may not get a good response because it is an illusory movie.

The film “Welcome to Sajjanpur” is about an Indian village, a small region isolated from the hi-tech culture of India where the people are not computer savvy but they are very simple and many of them are uneducated to be unable to read a letter or a postal message. The film is about the humor generated from such situational incidents. The film aims to attract audience in multiplexes who have their roots in these kinds of rural towns of India but after arriving in metro cultural cities, they feel away from their roots.

The story of the film is about Mahadev who is one of the few people who are educated in his small village Sajjanpur and he wants to write a novel, a book but he makes money by reading the letters of the people, who are unable to read their postal letter by their own.
Mahadev is popular with other villagers and he finds that he can even control the activities of the village from his skills.

The film has Shreyas Talpade and Amrita Rao in lead roles and Shreyas said that he has been doing experimental roles, that suits his image and he gets popular from such movies. He said working with Shyamji is like going back to acting school.

The director of the film Shyam Benegal, who is internationally acclaimed bollywood director made many movies screened in some of the known film festivals around the world, said that he got the script of the film when he met his spot boy who was uneducated and his wife was educated .The spot boy used to bring letters written by his wife on sets to be read by somebody learned to read the letters. The film is a low budget venture and has the content to attract audience.

The film “Tahaan” is about a little boy who gets greedy for his donkey to innocently commit a highly illicit act. The little boy in the film looks innocent and his affection for his donkey is also very sweet but the film lacks a constant script and screenplay to depict the sequence orderly and effectively. You don’t have the kind of music to support the movie but the Santosh Sivan movie has a difference in the way it shows terrorism on borders that is carried out though little innocent carriers.

The story of the film is about Tahaan who lives with his grandfather, mother and sister in Kashmir and they are all hoping that one day Tahaan’s father will return from somewhere who is missing from three years. Tahaan’s mother everyday goes with his father’s photograph to check if the police or the armies found her husband.

Then one day Tahaan’s grandfather passes away and the local moneylender, who wants to set up a bank in the village, takes away Tahaan’s donkey Birbal for the money he gave and sells the donkey to Subhan, who will take the donkey across the mountains.

Subhan are a very intelligent elderly man and he has lots of experience in life. Subhan is followed by Tahaan who wants his donkey back and initially Subhan is reluctant to get close to Tahaan but soon the little boy accompanies Subhan to go with him across the mountains.

Tahaan meets a teenage friend ldrees who gives him package to carry across the mountain that Tahaan puts the bag given by ldrees on his donkey’s back and he goes with Subhan across the mountains where he finds that the donkey is not even for Subhan but he is carrying it for one of his relatives. There are many twists and turns in the simple tale though the story lacks strength to stick to the main theme.

The shoot locations are beautiful and the screenplay is average. The screens look fresh and innocent. The performance of little Purav is efficient, he does his part best and he even looks the way he is presented. Anupam Kher is ok. Sarika has no dialogues to say and her eyes speak well. Both the Rahuls and Victor Banerjee are ok.

The film will get below average audience response.

The film “Chamku” starts with a promise to be “Gangajal” but the film lacks the compact script to hold on even in the initial hour. The action scenes from Bobby Deol are effective and a few dialogues are memorable but you don’t have a soul in this movie. The film is not intense, the way it should have been and it even lacks logic in the way it depicts the script.

The movie starts with a young Chandrama Singh Varma, Chamku who is born and brought up in the Naxalite areas and as a kid he watches the murder of his father in front of his eyes .He joins the naxalite group as a grown up and once he escapes a police encounter, he is used by the police to kill politicians. While he is working for the police, he gets in love with a teacher, who later gets pregnant. Chamku gives wrong information about himself to the lady teacher and he tells he is a banker .Then Chamku is present in the Naxal areas and he reaches RAW from where, it’s unclear.

The film has romance, action, thrills, a series of Naxalites stories and even political games but none is linked to other properly and the film can be watched in breaks. Even the shoot locations are confusing and how the glamour gets into the rural areas is still more confusing.

The film lacked a clear script and depiction made it further unclear. Director Kabeer Kaushik, who made the film Saher (Arshad Warsi fighting the local don), lacked similar clarity in this film. He should have concentrated to one topic and depicted it properly.
The music of the film is another drawback, it is not rural like “Omkara” and not even bollywood masala kind with items. You have punjabi folk, western and rural north belt songs all in one.

The performance of Bobby and Priyanka is very filmy and illusory. The film will not have average response in multiplexes and may get audience in some regions in north, audience who want to watch the actions from Bobby Deol will go to watch the movie.

The comedy flick from Ekta Kapoor “C KKompany “is basically based on the underworld comedies like “Munnabhai” and it is also about three dim-witted men like the ones found in film “Hera Pheri,” who unexpectedly get money and fame but the outcome of the combination of the two movies , is not very delighting. The film couldn’t be all comedy though you can’t ignore a few hilarious dialogues and sequences.

The script being a cusp of two subject gets confusing and the clarity of any of the film “Hera Pheri” or “Munaabhi” is not visible in the film “C KKompany “ the film has praising performance from the lead casts and even the music is advantageous. The look and locations are fine, but the basic plot is repetitive and messy.

The story of the film is about three men who have been labeled useless by their family and relatives. The three are of different age group but belong to the same kind of struggling middle class families. One of them is Mr. Joshi who is a retired accountant, Akshay, a crime reporter in search of some job and Lambodar, into a conflicting family relation with wife for being jobless.

The three plays a prank to entertain themselves but the sequence run from one to other and turn out completely different, out of their hands. But it comes like “blessing in disguise “ and they get fame from their prank. The plot has many twists and turns that finally leads the three men into a different kind of unpredictable situation. You get fun in breaks in the film, some sequence is happy but many are lengthy and repetitive, in the second half of the movie.

Sachin Yardi has directed similar comedy film “Kya Kool Hain Hum” and he tried to improve from his next film. Performance of Rajpal Yadav is good, Anupam Kher is ok and Tushaar is average. Mithun is perfect and Raima Sen looks fine in her role. The presence of Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt and Ekta Kapoor is a new idea.

The film has many competitive movies in line and it will be watched by those who wish to go for comedy movies to theatres .The movie will get average collections.
