Anuranan is a Bengali film made under the banners of Screenplay Films Pvt Ltd. Directed by Tony aka Aniruddha Roy Chaudhury, the cast includes names like Rahul Bose, Raima Sen, Rituparna Sen Gupta and Rajat Kapoor.

The film has been extensively shot in the beautiful locales of London and captures the ethnicity of modern Kolkata. The setting also helps to build the chemistry between the individuals. The story reflects the different emotions and bonds of relationships we make throughout the different phases of life.

The word ‘Anuranan’ means resonance in Bengali. The plot of Anuranan revolves around two couples, who struggle through a journey called life. Fate brings the four individuals together in a mystery of sorts.

Rahul and Nandita have moved to Kolkata, after spending a few years in London. Rahul and Amit meet during the Kanchanjunga project. This further results in a friendship between the two couples, that of Rahul-Nandita and Amit-Preeti.

The four people are going through different emotions and still manage to strike a chord amongst themselves. The understanding between Preeti and Nandita at the end of the story when their individual worlds are broken to bits and pieces also signifies a new resonance that has been struck.

This significantly results in a unique bond between the two people who are ready for the world to come.
