Music Review of Victoria No. 203
The promos of the movie Victoria No. 203 are much similar to the Do Jasoos, the movie in 1970s ,.the duo pair of Anupam Kher and Om Puri look to be searching for something but in the movie the two are playing crooks.
The movie has been directed by Anant Mahadevan and produced by Kamal Sadanah. The songs of the movie have been written by Sameer and the music director is Himesh Reshammiya and Viju Shah. The audio has been released just 10 days before the release of the movie itself.
The Theme song is twice present in the music CD that signifies the suspense prevalent in the movie. Theme has a western touch and is written by Asif Ali Beg and sung by Dominique. This is a good track that you may wish to listen again and again. Second version of the theme song is with the singer Annika.
Do Bechare sung by Amit Kumar and Udit Narayan, composed by Viju Shah and written by Varma Malik, this is an average song having not as much of impact on the audience.
Deedani has been sung by Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal. The song is supposed to be a romantic number but the song is dull and the music is not the one to be enjoyed at all. Chandrashekhar Raajit and Viju Shah together are unable to bring any outcome of their effort in this song.
Thoda Thehro has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal and the song has orchestra at the start that is appealing. Indiwar has written the song and the lyrics are good.
Zindagi Aa Gayi as been written by Chandrashekhar Raajit and has a lots of Dhol beats .This is an just listen and forget kind of song. Zubin Garg is unable to make an acceptable performance in the song.
This is a suspense movie and lots of club like music are present in the songs and a suspense theme track at the start. The movie has a look of 70s suspense movies in the promos and songs have been effected as well by the 70s cinema.
The rating for the album is 6/10.
