Music Review Dhol

The movie Dhol is an entertaining comedy movie by Priyadarshan and the music of the movie has been composed by Pritam and helped by Mayur Puri, Amitabh Verma and Ashiesh Pandit. The songs of the movie has been written by Irshad Kamil.

The cast of the movie include Sharman Joshi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Tanushree Datta, Rajpal Yadav and Payal Rohatgi.

Sexy ..- O Yaara Dhol Bajake – the song has been written by Irshad Kamil and composed by Pritam .The music is full of Dhol beats. Mika has also appeared in the song .The song has the prospective to be used in all the coming marriages this season.

A remix version of the first Dhol song O Yaara Dhol Bajake has been done by Labh Janjua.

A third version of the song O Yaara Dhol Bajake has been sung by Soham Chakraborty and Sohail Kaul and that too has the impact to be played again and again.

Namakool –we are cool’ –The song has typical we are naughty four type of impish lyrics and the song has been sung by Kunal Ganjawala and Shaan. The lyrics are catchy ones.

Haadsa- The song has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Akriti Kakkad .The song looks to be a club track .The song has been written by Irshad Kamil.

Bheega Aasmaan- This is a Pritam song that has potential to be heard for long time repeatedly. The lyrics of the song are also amazing written by Irshad Kamil. The song has been sung very well by Shaan and Vijay Yesudas. It is a lovely song.

All Night Long -The song has been sung by Usha Uthup and written by Mayur Puri. This is a kind of western club songs that has the typical Usha Uthup touch. The effect of her loud voice as same as in many previous songs sung by her.

Dil Liya Dil Liya –The song has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal and it looks to be dance song.The tabla words in song are prevalent and song has been worked by Amitabh Verma.

Overall the album is likely to come in top 10 listing of the weekly music releases. All the songs are not memorable ones but a few definitely will create impact on the audiences.

The rating for the music album is 8/10.

1. I like very much the story of Dhol Kiska Bajega and its song sequences. Hope it will be an entertaining movie with the star casting as also songs. I am interested to know when it will be released. Thanks.
