Movie Review Darling

The next movie by Ram Gopal Verma after last Friday’s Aag is Darling; this was less promoted movie compared to the movie Aag. It is predicted by many that this movie will be the blockbuster of the year. The movie has unpredictable sequences and will be watched by the audience for being new in concept. The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The movie has a horror mixed to comedy in story.

The cast of the movie includes Esha Deol as Geeta Menon, Fardeen Khan as Aditya Soman, Isha Koppikar as Ashwini, Zakir Hussain as Kota Srinivasan Rao, Upyendra Limaye, Pubali Sanyal. The music of the movie has been given by Himesh Reshammiya, Pritam Chakraborty and Prasana Shekhar. The lyrics are of Sameer and Sarim Momin.

The story of the movie is about a man, Aditya, who tries to have all in life. He is having a beautiful loving wife, Ashwini at home and a secretary, Geeta, at office with whom he flirts. He speaks lies to both of them and enjoys it all. One day his secretary tells him that she is pregnant and wishes to marry him. He replies to his secretary that he cannot marry her. In the fight between the two, Aditya accidentally kills his secretary. Aditya buries Geeta’s body and thinks all is finished.

One day to the surprise of Aditya, the girlfriend is back in the form of ghost and the story of Aditya getting chased by his girlfriend as ghost is shown.

Esha Deol has done superb job in the movie and Isha Kopikkar has not much to do as such. Fardeen is having his best time as an actor. After Heyy Babyy another movie having Fardeen in some of the best forms is Darling.

Ram Gopal Verma can now relax for the time being after the release of the movie Darling.The story and sequences of the movie make you get entertained. This is not all and all a horror movie. The comedy and horror together experimented by Ram Gopal Verma has worked in the movie and the most unpredictable sequences will bring people to the theatres.

Rating for the movie is 8/10.
