Movie Review Aggar

The movie Aggar has the story of a woman falling in love with a wrong man that brings her problems. The story is suspense, passion, thriller and obsession. The movie has been made by Anant Mahadevan and is produced by Narendra Bajaj and Shyam Bajaj. The movie has been made for the banner Siddhi Vinayak Creations.

The cast in the movie include Tusshar Kapoor as Aryan, Shreyas Talpade as Dr. Adi Merchant, Vikas Kalantri, Udita Goswami as Janvi ,Nauheed Cyrusi and Sophie Chaudhary. The music of the movie is composed by Mithoon and is an average album.

The story of the movie is about a couple where wife Janvi, who is also running a business , starts suspecting her husband., Dr. Aditya Merchant, who is a psychiatrist, of having an affair with Radha, an Interior Designer.

She herself gets into an affair with Aryan, who works in her company in fit of anger, for her husband’s act. As the story unwinds Janvi tries to get away from Aryan and do not wish to continue the affair that started by mistake, with Aryan. But Aryan is now obsessed with his boss, Janvi, and he do not wish to end the affair.

The story and sequences of the movie is unpredictable from the starts and keeps the audience hooked till the end. But the end of the story is predictable and that is the negative point of the movie. The music is not catchy to the sequences and the songs lack the intensity the story has.

The lead actors have carried the story very well and have given brilliant performances. Tusshar has delivered a different class of his acting, Shreyas Talpade has got the good times starting with the movie. He has many other in a row like Om Shati Om, Dil Dosti etc. Audience can expect more from him. The cinematography by K. Rajkumar is good. Udita Goswami is also able to prove herself in the role. Other actors are average.

Not much promotion has been done for the movie. The movie is a thriller and the October holidays in schools and colleges can bring audience to multiplexes.
