Music Review Om Shanti Om
This is a most aspired movie by Farah Khan and Shahrukh Khan. The promos and the song shown in TV promos show the song that looks to be of 70’s decade. Shahrukh Khan is wearing the golden jacket as worn by Shammi Kapoor in Teesari Manzil. The whole look and presentation of the song match Teesari Manzil, the movie of 70 decade. The music of the movie is has been worked out by Vishal-Shekhar and Javed Akhtar to make a really admired album.
Ajab Si..Aankhon Mein Teri -This is a romantic song written by Vishal and sung by K.K.
Dard-E-Disco -This is a dance number by. Sukhwinder Singh. It has been written by Javed Akhtar. Vocals are of Marianne, Nisha and Caralisa.
Remix of Dard-E-Disco is also a fast and loud dance number by Dj Aqeel
Deewangi Deewangi – This is a song sung by Shaan, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan and Rahul Saxena is actually a mix of qawalli ,bhangra and western arrangements as Farah did in Main Hoon Na .The experimentation is quite similar.
Deewangi Deewangi (Rainbow Mix)-The remix has been done by Dj Kiran & Dj G.
Main Agar Kahoon-This is a soft song sung by Sonu Nigam along with Shreya Ghoshal. This is one of the lovely songs of the album.
Jag Soona Soona Lage – The song has been written by Kumaar and voice are of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Richa Sharma.
Dhoom Taana –This song has tabla, dhol and ghungaroo as in some 80’s songs. Shreya Ghoshal is singing the song along with Abhijeet to make it a fun filled song.
Dastaan-E-Om Shanti Om –Dastaan is a story like song, sung by Shaan and the various emotion of story are shown in the song.
Remix version as Dastaan - The Dark Side Mix- Remix version of song is by Zoheb and Dj Nikhil
Om Shanti Om - Medley Mix- This song is combinations of many tracks of the album.
Om Shanti Om – Themes –This song has been presented in piano and is like listening to the album songs again.
This is one of a good album of the year Lots of variations have been provided to satisfy audiences of different choice.
