The movie has already released in international market and is awaiting release in Indian market. The movie may be released on September 21at. Directed by son of Shammi Kapoor, Aditya Raj Kapoor, the movie is a directorial debut.
Sambar Salsa is originally made in English language. After this movie Aditya Raj Kapoor has also made a movie called Don’t Stop Dreaming, this one also has Rishi Kapoor. Aditya was also in news for starting a movie along with item girl Rakhi Sawant.
The London born actor Ateesh Randev is a part of the movie whose looks match that of a British Asian and the movie has been produced and distributed by London based Kaybee Pictures.
The cast of the movie include Rishi Kapoor as Om Suri, Taz as himself, Aleesia Bonnaci as Julia Cervantes, Roberta Caocci as Sasha Cervantes, Colin Duval as Miguel Cervantes, Paulette Michelle as Fashion Buyer, Guy Morris as Lord William, Ateesh Randev as Surya Suri, Damian Regan as Peter and Rikin Trivedi as Mr. Iyer.
Sambar Salsa is a romantic comedy movie where Rishi Kapoor plays the role of Om Suri , a father a young boy Surya Suri. Surya falls in love with a young Spanish girl. One day he brings his girlfriend to meet his parents and movie revolves around the reaction of parents on meeting the girl.
The music of the movie has been composed by Mahesh Nayak, Stereo Nation and Dhiren Raichura. The cinematography is by Damodar Naidu.
