Movie Preview Speed

The movie Speed has been made by the banner Baweja Movies. The movie was projected to be released in July 2007 but had a slow speed in getting completed. The director of the movie is Vikram Bhatt and producer is Harry Baweja.

The star cast are Zayed Khan as Sandy, Urmila Matondkar as Sapna , Aashish Chaudhary as Rohan, Aftab Shivdasani as Neal, Sanjay Suri as Siddharth, Sophie Chaudhary, Tanushree Datta as Meera, Amrita Arora

The story of the movie is inspired by Hollywood movie based on cell phone. Zayed Khan is playing a non-serious guy, Sandy who follows his girlfriend, Meera, to London for getting forgiven.

Sapna is a wife of a banker Rohan, who gets kidnapped by Neal and Natasha. Siddhartha is a policeman who gets a CD from Neal relating to kidnapping of Rohan’s wife.

Rohan is following the instructions by kidnappers with the help of Amrita Arora, on phone to reach his wife when he realizes that he is being used as a weapon for assassinating PM on London tour. Next the kid of Rohan is targeted by the kidnappers.

All this is happening when Sandy gets a phone call from the kidnapped lady, Sapna about the area where she has been placed and how to reach there. Sandy continuously keeps talking to the kidnapped lady on cell phone to finally reach her to find her out.

In his way to reach Sapna and to help the family out of the problem, he has a break up with his girlfriend for whom he had come all way to London. But he is very serious about helping Sapna. The story depicts the troubles he faces to reach Sapna and her son.

The music of the movie has been directed by Pritam Chakraborty and lyricist is Mayur Puri.The singers are Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Joy, Sonu Nigam and Antara Mitra.

The movie is action packed thrill and drama and has similarity to the Hollywood movie in many ways.
