Now Dhoom 2 gets Gandhigiri treatment

Still, a very stagnant and conservative society of india is yet not ready to accept boldness in cinema so easily.Time and again we come across protests and even violence when it comes to any alleged obscenity, vulgarism or taking up sensitive issues in the indian cinema.

Of late, the much-talked about lip-lock between Ash and Hrithik in Dhoom 2 is creating a lot of controversy and agitation in many sects of the socirty as well. But, now a peaceful “Gandhigiri” has been applied by the protestors.

in indore, the youth are scattered outside cinema theatres to give a dose of Gandhigiri to the Dhoom fans. They gave roses to people outside the theatres and urged them not see the film as it was against the sentiments of the indians.

Give me a break! And then, the so-called Gandhi followers even burnt posters of the movie on the streets of indore. How peaceful! Will someone tell them the movie was good and far better than the bold picturisation in Murder.And, there is sensuality and romance in the scene and does no harm to the audiences’ sensible minds. if they are sensible at all.

The whole drama started when some women in the audience were reportedly offended by the scene and they filed a case against Hrithik and Aishwarya for the alleged obscene sequence in an indore court.

As if it was the genesis of the actors’ minds.Even with modernisation of the society and vulgarism at its full bloom, one should not mix cheapness with cimematic art, just like exotica should not be read in the same context as erotica.
