Music Review Loins of Punjab Presents

One of the shortest music album released so far is of the movie Loins of Punjab Presents .This is a crossover movie released last week. The movie is gaining audience for its comedy subject. The movie has been produced and directed by Manish Acharya. The singers in the movie are Shabana Azmi, Hamsika Iyer, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Michael Raimondi and Bharat Raj.

The music of the movie has some of the shortest songs and most of Punjabi Bhangra that is getting recognition overseas as well. The album may come in record books for being too short.

Indian Girls Are Now Liking Bhangra –The song runs for duration of 7 seconds.

Dhol Beat- All the crossover movies have the Dhol beats in their songs as this gets acceptance in India and overseas. The Dhol beats are good ones and are also present in the album for the second time in The Loins Club Mix with a difference. This song runs for four minutes and makes you dance to the tunes. This will be played in the marriages in India and outside by the Indians as these are good to catch up.

Pulp Friction- This is a narrations and not a song as such. It is also a small piece with few lines and runs for 30 seconds.

Checking In –The song runs for 15 seconds and it is an introduction song for the Patels in the movie as they check in into a hotel.

The album is a short one that takes 9 minutes to complete and the movie has been released on 21st of September. The movie is based on the talent hunt show based on singing performance conducted in New Jersey.

The movie proms show Shabana Azmi singing in her original voice Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne Jo Dilko with no other effect in the song. The story of the movie has been written by Manish Acharya and Anuvab Pal.

Rating for the album is 4/10
