Like the movies Gangajal and Apharan, Halla Bol is one of Ajay’s powerful movies with a social message in which he along with a few supporters fights back against the corrupt government policies and people. Ajay’s fans have been waiting a long for the movie and the outcome on watching the movie makes you to wait for one more movies.

The story of the movie is about a small town boy Ashfaque who has a dream to become a superstar in Bollywood and to pursue his dream he joins the acting classes that are mostly street theatres run by Sidhu who turned to running theatres after surrendering from being a criminal.

By the twist of luck Ashfaque gets big into the Bollywood and he starts getting acclaimed for good performance in Bollywood. He changes himself completely for the new phase of his life and he is now called Sameer Khan. Sameer started doing all sorts of things to reach the top of Bollywood and stay there.

But an incident in a party shakes Sameer to retain his senses and not to get swayed away by fame, money and power. He takes up a challenge to give justice to the girl who gets killed in a party like the 1990’s Jessica Lal case that happened in India. He is supported by his guru Sidhu for the noble cause.

Halla Bol is another brilliant movie that comments on our corrupt social and political system and tries to prove that a single man is enough to fight all odds if he has a right point to prove. Movie by Rajkumar Santoshi who earlier made Damini and Ghayal are generally inspirational. The movie Halla Bol is also effective except for a few twist at times make it a bit lengthy.

The music of the movie by Sukhwinder is also full of energy. Performance by Ajay is up to the mark. Vidya just adds the energy to enhance Ajay’s role and Pankaj Kapoor is always the best choice for any role.

After the imaginary kinds of movies and Welcome kind of comedy, Halla Bol is a good movie to watch for a change of subject and the movie will get audiences in small town of India as well.
