In the year 2007 before the commencement of the last quarter of the year, the movie Chak De India by Yash Raj Banner is the only movie which has been declared to be a blockbuster and the next movie released in the current week by the Yash Raj banner is Lagaa Chunnari Mein Daag, which is definite to pick up as the week proceeds. Other expected release in the current year by the banner is Aaja Nachle.

In the current decade Bollywood is marked by the presence of Yash Raj Banner movies in a way that most of the blockbuster in the Hindi Cinema from last 10-15 years has been made under the prestigious Yash Raj Banners.

The movies made under the Yash Raj Banners are unique due to their technical excellence and script that focuses on youngsters. After making the blockbuster movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, the banner is mostly releasing the movies made by son of Yash Chopra, Aditya Chopra.

The movies made by Yash Raj have bagged many times Filmfare awards that give awards based on the pollings given by the audience. The Best movie awards in the last few years have been given to movies Veer-Zaara (2004), Dil To Pagal Hai(1997), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge(1995), Lamhe(1991) made under the banner, which shows that the movies made by the banner gets approval by the audience to be declared the Best movie once in a three to four years. Even for the first movie made under the banner by the director Yash Chopra got the Best director award of the year.
