Music Review: Aaja Nachle
The movie Aaja Nachle is in news for being the comeback movie of the actress Madhuri Dixit, who is popular for her graceful dances and Indian looks and also for being a Yash Raj banner movie. The movie is being produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Anil Mehta.
The cast of the movie include Madhuri Dixit, Akshaye Khanna, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kunal Kapoor, Ranvir Shorey, Irrfan Khan, Divya Dutta. The music of the album will be available on Yash Raj Music and the music has been made by Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant. The lyrics are of Piyush Mishra, Jaideep Sahni and Asif Ali Beg.
Aaja Nachle –The title track is dance number by Madhuri Dixit and is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. The song has the typical Madhuri’s classical effect.
Aaja Nachle 2- The song is repeated as a remix version and is good to hear.
Ishq Hua –The song ‘Ishq Hua’ is a romantic song sung by the young voices of Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. The lyrics of this song are good. It is a sweet song like the Yash Raj song ‘Ghore Jaisi Chaal Haathi’.
Show Me Your Jalwa –A good song having catchy music and sung by Richa Sharma, Kailash Kher and Salim Merchant. The voice of Kailash Kher makes the song powerful.
O Re Piya – The song looks to be a dramatized ‘qawalli’ and is sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. This song is a romantic one and is not very touchy.
Soniye Mil Ja -The song has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Madhuri Dixit has also put in her voice in a few lines. It is a good song.
Is Pal –Another very sweet romantic song sung by the young voices of Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal is Is Pal ,which is song for couples in love.
Koi Patthar Se Na Maare-This looks to be a theatrical kind of song sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam.
Dance With Me –The song by Sonia Saigal and written by Asif Ali Beg is a disco kind of song.
The Aaja Nachle music album has the benefit of being a Yash Raj album and in having Madhuri dances. A dance song and romantic songs are good.
