The attraction of the movie Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal is its subject that is based on sports and the couple John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. The movie has been shot mostly in United Kingdom and Spain. The movie has been promoted to be raising the issues of racism and other sports related issues mostly prominent in the westerners.

After watching the movie it can be said that last 30 minutes of the movie are excellent (script wise and technically), the music of the movie is brilliant, the shoot locations are lovely and Arshad Warsi is lovable.

The story of the movie is about a South Hall United Football Team that is in a pitiable situation. The club gets an order from the City Council authorities to either pay their dues or leave the place. To pay the dues the team has to win a championship and it is impossible for the looser SUFT team to win a match. The challenge is taken up by the team captain Shaan. The team is to be made from the start as there is no player in the team interested to win a match and no coach.

Tony Singh had a dream to win the match for his team but was unable to get a win for his team when he was a player and he is taken up as the coach of the SUFT team. Sunny wants to play for England but is unable to get into the team as he gets rejected for racism.

All these join SUFT and they make a good winning team. As the team starts winning matches, the city council gets worried and asks Johny Bakshi to entice Sunny to get away from SUFT.

The first half of the movie just opens up the story and keeps you imagining for the next half of the story and the second half of the movie is very interesting and exciting. The best are the last 20 deciding minutes. John shifting his stand to get his dreams true and be in the team is an interesting part.

The music of the movie is very catchy and acting skills of the lead actor John Abraham is not well brushed up. Bipasha has insignificant role just part in a short love story in a sports movie. Boman Irani is good. Raj Zutshi and Dalip Tahil are also good in their roles. The script also gets low many times. The last part drama is memorable.

The movie is overall a good won to watch in festive season but the competitors OSO and Saawariya will retain their positions in the charts and their popularity is not going to get effected by this week’s Bollywood release.
