Farhan Akhtar to debut as an actor

You have known him since his Dil Chahta Hai days, then for an interesting Lakshaya and then the latest feather in his cap, Don.The innovative director with the nack of experimenting with different ideas has a very interesting role up his sleeves. Gear up for the young director’s celluloid debut next year.

Farhan’s really excited about his debut film titled Fakir, to be directed by an industry newcomer Anand Surapur’s, Farhan’s close buddy. “its very-very exciting. i had a wonderful time doing this film and it’s almost done,” says Farhan.

On the first time director he said, “while i was learning what do as an actor, he was learning how to be a director. But what really made things easy for me was the fact that i have been friend with him for a long time.

Making this film helped me develop a great rapport with him. We literally were hanging together while shooting this film. He was more a friend even on the sets,” says Akhtar.
So, will Akhtar be successful in his new stint as an actor? The director’s eye may definitely help this talented filmmaker-turned-actor.
