The Bollywood movies in current scenario are getting funds from many banks and financial institutions that were forbidden by the government in the early decades of movie makings.

Other than these schemes like funds from organization and common man investors are also been promoted today to incest in Bollywood and international production houses are also funding Hindi movies due to their increasing popularity.

The question is that the funds in Bollywood is many times not a regulated one and we get reports of the movies being made by the money from he underworld. The underworld connections have been highlighted by many famous personalities and producers who get life threatening calls from this downbeat face of the so glamorous Bollywood.

The prominence of muscle power and mafia raj led the killings of cassette king Gulshan Kumar. The movie Chori Chori Chupke Chupke was also in news for being associated to the criminals of Mumbai who wish to make money in the Bollywood.

With the coming of many different kinds of sources of making money in Bollywood and the growth of overseas market in UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United States the industry can get away from being related to the underworld and concentrate on generating money from the alternative sources available.

The other ways of getting funds by the Bollywood are to show the movies on TV satellite channels and to sell rights to other organizations. The big business houses like reliance and politicians are also getting into this market of movie making and hence a new trend in Bollywood funds generation will be started.

As compared to Hollywood, Bollywood is still too far in reaching the amount of money invested and collected from the movies but the upward trend has started in Bollywood.
