Debutant Actress in Bollywood taking over the regime

The decade had many Bollywood actress come and go and a few talented ones are stuck to the screen. But the year of 2007 had a few new faces taking up the top seats and even movies without a female star was a success. The movies like Chak De India and Dhammal were movies having no prominent actress of Bollywood and it was a blockbuster of the year.

The situation is makes one to feel that the actresses are not playing a dominant role in getting audience. The year was also rejected for many good item songs and skin shows like the ones in Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag.

When the movie Chak De India was a hit it was said that the movie did well because none of the prominent actress like Rani or Preity were playing with hockey sticks as that would have made the movie completely unrealistic.

The movies Taara Rum Pum, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom were not good hits even after having the best female faces of Bollywood and Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Guru were average at box office and that too for other reasons than just the female leads. In all these the actress Vidhya Balan, Katerina Kaif ,Deepika Padukone, Konkana Sen Sharma, Kanagana Ranautt and Sonam Kapoor were able to grab attention from the viewers for their fresh looks.

Kanagana Ranautt and Konkana Sen Sharma were liked by audience in movie Life in .. Metro. The lone winner was Vidhya Balan with her performance in Guru, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Heyy Babyy and debutant Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor gained attention for their fresh new faces. The actress Katerina Kaif was also liked in the movies Namastey London and Partner.

Many actress of the last decade have settled into their family lives Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also took the wise step of getting married in the year.

Among the entire actress genre Juhi Chawla, Kajol and Madhuri Dixit are exceptions who are never over with their gorgeous screen presence. Juhi never left movies and her last movie was Swami and Madhuri is coming back with her movie Aaja Nachle.
