Just remember the songs like Jane Jaan Dhondhta (Jawaani Diwaani), Dam Maaro Dam (Hare Rama Hare Krishna) , Piya Tu Ab To Aa Jaa (Caravan) , Tujhse naraaz nahi jindgi (Masoom), Aap Ki Aankhon Mein(Ghar) and the result is that you get relaxed and spirited to jump out of your seat .In the year 2007 you generally don’t find such music and songs from Bollywood. The best part of all these songs is that none is a slow and boring song and all are very refreshing an young even today to be played repeatedly in young parties and clubs.

Kati Patang, Amar Prem, Apna Desh, Yaadon Ki Baraat, Aradhana and many more just think of the best song of Bollywood and it must have been composed by RD. Not only the club and dance ones think something really serious and full of joy like the songs of movie Parichay and Aandhi and these have also been made by RD Burman.

RD also sang in a few songs like Bade achhe lagte hain (Balika Badhu) he sang the Majhi part, Piya Tu Ab To Aa Jaa (Caravan) the Monica one and in Golmal title song he had his voice .He even acted in a few movies, just small unnoticed roles.

All these songs are famous not only for the lyrics but mostly because of some unique music attached to their composition. In the year 1970 the technology was not updated to get remixed music but all these songs are party songs better than remixes of 2007.This is what the music composition need to bring out of his imagination and this was the creative brain of brilliant music composer Rahul Dev Burman that could think this way.

The music composer RD Burman got training under Ali Akbar Khan and most of the characters that were built in 1970’s in movies matched their roles because of the songs that were shown on them. The glamour of Zeenat Aman came out best in Dum Maaro and Rajesh Khanna looked young for the youthful song.

The son of popular music composer S.D.Burman, Rahul Dev Burman created a vacuum in Industry when he breathed his last in 1998. S.D.Burman was famous for making sweet and slow music and RD Burman made use of the western techniques and Indian music to bring out the enthusiasm and youthfulness in his songs. If anybody listens to the songs sung by participant in the todays reality shows you will find maximum are composed by RD Burman. The songs made by Rahul Dev Burman mostly sung by Kishore Kumar are the most heard songs even of the year 2007.
