Nominations for the Filmfare awards

The Filmfare has brought out the form that needs to be filled and sent to the institution that is considered to be the highest institution that gives awards in Bollywood. Filmfare is unique as it is based on the choices sent by the audience and it is not based on a group of judge that gives away awards to the film stars and movie makers.

This year the Filmfare has published its forms for the nominations and entries to be filled by the audiences and there are many submissions for the deserving candidates even on internet blogs. Here are the lists of candidates considered to be most deserving for the Filmfare awards by fans.

Best Film: For the best film Chak De India, Om Shanti Om, Taare Zameen Par and Guru are equally competent and it is expected that Chak De India should be the winner for being a movie based on an inspirational script.

Best Director: The best director could be Shimit Amin, Maniratnam or Aamir Khan for Chak De India, Guru or Taare Zameen Par respectively.

Best Actor: The best actor of the year is Shahrukh Khan who gave two hit movies Om Shanti Om and Chak De India

Best Actress: The award should go to Rani Mukharjee for Laaga Chunari Mein Daag or the next eligible one is Vidya Balan for Heyy Babyy and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Best Actor in a negative role:The negative role played by Arjun Rampal in Om Shanti Om was good to get the award.

Best Actress in a negative role: The negative role played by Esha Deol in Darling was applauding.

Best Debuting (Male): Ranbir Kapoor and Neil Mukesh can get it together.

Best Debuting (Female): Deepika Padukone

Best Supporting Male: Mithun Chakraborty (Guru)

Best Supporting Female: Vidya Balan (Guru) or Rani Mukharjee (Saawriya)

Best Music Direction: Shankar Ehsaan Loy (Johnny Gaddar, Taare Zameen Par, Salaam-e-Ishq, Heyy Babyy)

Best Dialogue: Chak De India (Hockey Mein Chakee Nahee Hote )

Best Choreographer: Farah Khan (Om Shanti Om all songs)

Best Lyricist: Javed Akhtar (Om Shanti Om)

Best Playback Singer (Male): Jab Se Tere Naina (Shaan)

Best Playback Singer (Female): Shreya Goshal (Sawar Gayee)

Best Art Direction: Saawariya.

Best Special Effects: Taare Zameen Par.

Best Costume Design: Manish Malhotra and Karan Johar (Om Shanti Om)
