Bollywood movies are getting scripts from Bollywood itself

Many movies that are getting made and released from Bollywood in the past few months which are similar to each other not in the makings, direction or story but for their background. Many of the movies released in the last months of year 2007 and initial months of 2008 are based in stories from Bollywood Industry itself though some of the controversial topics associated to the Bollywood are still untouched by these movies.

The last months releases in the year 2007 were Khoya Khoya Chand and Showbiz and the movie release in the month of November, Om Shanti Om, all these movies had taken some or the other realities related to he Bollywood and tried to show it to the people.

The script of the movie Om Shanti Om mostly commented on the conduct that a junior artists received in the 70’s cinema and it also said that the top artists in the current Bollywood scenario are mostly adopting the family business.

The movie Om Shanti Om, Khoya Khoya Chand and Showbiz tried to show the light side of movie makings in year 1970’s or 50’s or 2000’s. Om Shanti Om even pointed out a few top stars of Bollywood like Manoj Kumar but still the movie did not scrutinize all the Bollywood’s fallow facts.

In the same way the movie Khoya Khoya Chand tried to show some dark sides of the cinema Industry of the year 1950’s .The movie Showbiz showed some disadvantages of getting fame.

In the start of the year 2008 the movie My Name is Anthony Gonsalves had a background of Bollywood but was not completely based on it. The movie Halla Bol made critical comments on the lifestyles of top stars and showed the concealed faces of Bollywood top stars. The movie pointed out some real life incidents like the Mittal’s marriage and release of an autobiographical book by the stars.

Till now the movies made taking Bollywood in backdrop has not shown anything about the underworld connection of Bollywood, the black money involved in Bollywood and the most controversial casting couch phenomena targeting the top slot. Some of the other releases of the year 2008 that will try to open some more of the bollywood’s associations and masked facts are Superstar, Mithya, and Fashion.
