Music Review: Black & White

The movie produced by Subhash Ghai Black & White is in news for its script that is based on terrorism. The music of the movie made under Subhash Ghai’s production and direction can be expected to be unique and impressive. Music of the album has been composed by Sukhwinder Singh.

Main Chala : The lyrics of the title song are meaningful and expressive and the song has been sung by Sukhwinder Singh. The song is average.

Peer Manavan –This is a good wedding kind of song sung by Shradha Pandit and Sukhwinder Singh. The song is lively and enthusiastic with dhol sounds.

Jogi Aaya - Sukhwinder Singh and Sadhana Sargam sings the song Jogi Aaya and is really very impressive song of the album. Sadhana’s classical experience and voice is lovely in the song.

Main Chali - Shreya Ghoshal sings the song Main Chali that is a complete female version song and the lyrics of the song are good. The look of the song in the album will be important to get it noticed.

Haq Allah - Sukhwinder Singh and Hans Raj Hans have sung this song that goes sufi in music and the song has a catchy background music.

Yeh Hindustan Hai (original version) –One of the version of the song has been sung by Udit Narayan and that makes the song have a fresh approach and the lyrics of the song by Ibrahim Ashk are average. There are few remix versions (Peer Manaya and Jogi Aaya ) in the album that are made to be party songs and

Yeh Hindustan Hai(second version) –The second version of the song Yeh Hindustan Hai has been sung by Jagjit Singh and the Ghazal singer has many takers to notice the song.

Haq Allah part 2- The last in the album is the Haq Allah part 2.This is average again.

The album is not very impressive as a Subhash Ghai album but a few songs like Peer Manavan and Haq Allah are good.
