Actors mock their money making at private functions

The top Bollywood actors Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan hosted the Filmfare awards function for the year 2008 and the award function was looking different because the Bachchans were not sitting in the front seat of the Award ceremony with their family friend Amar Singh. The ceremony was lovely for the comical hosting of the actors Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan and the camera looked to be rolling over their friends and co-stars like Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir.

The ceremony did not have Bachchan’s, Salman Khan, Katerina Kaif, Rani Mukharjee and few other top Bollywood stars and everybody knows that Aamir Khan never visit the awards functions. The hosting of the awards was great by the two top Bollywood actors, who were recently more in news for their other than movie activities. Saif Ali Khan even made a fun sequence over getting tattoo in the name of Kareena Kapoor on his hands.

But the most lengthy discussions was made by the two stars on taking money to go to private parties of rich people who could afford to pay them in millions for their presence in function and also for their performance. A Na-real award was given away to Akshay Kumar for being the busiest actor who goes to most of the marriage parties and birthday parties for getting money.

The artists on stage who hosted the awards function were reading out the script written by somebody else for which they had prepared for long and they might not have hosted the Filmfare function for free. Huge money is charged by actors to not only to go to private parties and marriages but even to host functions and appear on stage.

The charges of stars are not fixed like the share market prices it goes up and down as per their own market values and the Bollywood stars sell like commodities in these markets. May be a time comes when the buyers are no more interested in a getting a star to their parties,till then let the stars make money.
