Football for charity played by Bollywood stars

A football match was organized by Abhijit Kadam Memorial Foundation’ and almost all the top stars participated in the match. The match was played in Pune and was noticeable for not only participations from stars that are generally very busy in their work and also the stars donated amount of money towards the foundation for the cancer patients. In India about 350,000 people of all age group die after getting detected for cancer and most of these patients couldn’t get proper treatment as there are less facilitated hospitals in India for the treatment of patients suffering from cancer.

Salman Khan has been trying to get funds for cancer foundation and he has been trying many ways to get money for the organization as in India there is not adequate facilities and equipments in the hospitals and it becomes very difficult for patients to get cured on getting contracted by cancer for the lack of facilities. Shahrukh Khan inaugurated the match and Nana Patekar donated Rupees 2.5 lakhs amount for the foundation.

The match was played between local businessman and Bollywood stars and stars won the match by 9-5.Ranbir Kapoor played the match like professionals and businessmen team was having he Indian football player Dhanraj Pillai. Shreyas said after the match that initially he thought that playing game is fine but after 10 minutes of running he could get that it was really difficult to play the game.

Salman Khan and Govinda together played the match in partnership and matched each others strikes. Suniel Shetty was also in the team and initially he could show that he is a good player but later he had knee problems and decided to stay outside the field. Other than Salman, Sohail Khan was also in Bollywood team. This has been a great participation from actors for a noble cause like treatment of cancer.
