The animation movie Ghatothkach - Master of Magic” has been made by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao who is famous for films like Pushpak which was a silent movie that broght him international recognition.Pushpak is one of the 100 Best Films by The Gentleman Magazine.

The trend of making animation on classical subjects started more prominently in Indian cinema after the success of Hanuman and Hanuman Returns. Many animation movies have been made after that but all are not as such successful, The latest “Ghatothkach - Master of Magic” is based on the character Ghatothkach. As per the texts of Mahabharata Ghatothkach was powered to get invisible and get changing shapes.He was son of demon wife Hidambi of Bhim.

The music of the movie has been given by Pravin Mani who is associate of Indian Prodigy A R Rehman. The 48 Camera Motion Capture Technologies has been used for the first time to make an animation movie and the functionality has been provided by Mobility Art Studio in India.

The story of the movie is of Ghatothkach aka Ghattu who is the prince of forest and he is blessed with magical powers. He uses his magical powers to protect animals and organism around him. When he turns 5 years old, he rescues a baby elephant called Gajju and he makes life long friendship with the baby elephant.
The story is about how Ghattu and his magical powers destroy evil forces and together with the prince of forest, the elephant form a team help unite two soul mates and to fight the evil forces.

This is a 100 min movie and is made in seven languages English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali. The animation movie may be released next month.
