Yesterday two movies were released “Tashan” and “Sirf - Life Looks Greener on the Other Side” and both the movies have not been awarded above average ratings by movie critics but the result of box office can be predicted only after the weekend shows. The last week’s releases “Krazzy 4”, “U,Me Aur Hum”, “Khuda Ke Liye” ,”Race” and “Shourya” are still being screened in theatres and the Pakistani movie “Khuda Ke Liye” could make its mark on the Indian box-office.

The movie “Khuda Ke Liye” was not promoted as such in India but the movie was made popular by the audience itself. The movie is not filled up with entertaining elements but its script is based on a critical social message and it is a movie that has been made by a debutant director Shoaib Mansoor. The movie has debuting casts who never worked on big screens but the movie has been making its mark on the audience all over the world. The attractions of the movie are its music, the commanding script and the subject. In addition to it are the performance by the actors and the direction that is flawless.

Other than “Khuda Ke Liye” ,the comedy movie “Krazzy 4” got average collections at the box office and the movie “U,Me Aur Hum” could make average collections in the international markets but the overall response of audience towards the movie has not been encouraging.

The movie “Race” was lastly released in Pakistan and it got better collection than “Welcome” in Pakistan. The movie “Race” has reached its fourth week and still it is in race at the box –offcie. The movie on army story “Shourya” is getting screened in its third week and the movie couldn’t get a hit kind of response from the audience.

After checking the discouraging response of audience towards of the Yash Raj Banner movie “Tashan” that opened up with a less number of screenings on Friday , it can be expected that the “Khuda Ke Liye”, ”Race” and “Krazzy 4” don’t have competition from any dominating single movie and their business will not be effected by the weekly Friday releases.
