The hidden side of the Gentleman’s game cricket will be shown in the movie “Jannat” in which Emraan Hashmi is playing a bookie. The hindi cinema industry, bollywood, has already been linked in some or the other way to the glamour game cricket and the story of the movie is about a man who initially starts with making money in the game of cards but later ends up in being a part of a criminal gang.

The story of the movie Jannat is about Arjun who is a young man obsessed to make money from gambling and cards. Arjun meets a girl in a shopping mall, Zoya and he gets a chance to get out of his ordinary life into new world. He starts with playing cards game and later plunges into putting money on cricket teams and then he becomes a bookie.

He loves his gambling on cricket and he too loves Zoya for whom he doesn’t have time as he is much involved in the game. Later he turns into a runner for a criminal mafia group and he starts fixing matches and as he grows up in status he comes in the eyes of police that has been investigating the bookie case.

Arjun has attained a new success in his life and he has to select either Zoya or his bookie profession. He finds it difficult to make up his mind and mafia offers him unlimited money for getting attached to the profession of bookie and Arjun finds it difficult to understand what is wrong and what is right. The movie is about how the conscious of a man may effect his decisions about his life.

The movie will be released on May 16 and it shows former cricketers participating in comedy shows on the small screen and doing other stuffs to get attention. The movie also tries to capture a few real life incidents in current cricketing scene in India.
