The film “Dhoom Dharaka” will be released on May 23 2008 and it is a comedy movie that has been mostly shot in Thailand.

In the movie “Dhoom Dharaka”, Anupam Kher plays the role of Mungi-lal who is a don and he stays in Bangkok from the last fifteen years. He had to move to Bangkok because he was being searched by police in India and to run away from Indian legal system he gets settled in a foreign country. He got a old friend, Jignesh who is from a Gujarat and has been with Mungilal from long time. He too migrated with Mungi-lal to Bangkok as his advisor and business manager.

Shivani is a girl who loves Rahul, who is an ambitious guy aspiring to be a movie star. Rahul is completely filmy in all he does and he is living in a PG accommodation. Jiya is another girl in love with Ranbir who has come from South Africa and he speaks mix of Hindi and English languages. He looks to be innocent but he wants quick money. Johnny is a detective and he has a beautiful wife Rambha that he finds to be troublesome.

Fursat Lala is in his fifties and is an ambitious don who has migrated from Mumbai and wants Mungi lal’s domain of Bangkok. Angoori is a long time friend of Ranbir and can use any methods to get money. Zac is son of Fursat Lala and is admirer of Hindi movies to an extend that he wants to make movies and direct it .

The story starts as the characters Mungi-lal and Fursat Lala, meet at the “All Aisan Bhi Meet” , where the discussion amongst dons are held over the falling rates in crimes. Fursat Lala proposes a plan to be started in a piece of land in Alibagh to make a fresh starts towards committing crimes and he is asked to search for a successor who will take his work to further generations but he doesn’t have any successor and he is made the don of Mumbai.

Moongi has a better plan and he also has a successor who will be taking care of his business and he is granted a month’s time to prove that he has a better plan to initiate the business of crimes.

In the time period Moongi and Jignesh have to find the sister of Mungi, Angoori who is dead and whom Mungi had thrown out of his home when she wished to marry a school teacher instead of a criminal. Angoori had a son Kamal who looks like Mungi. Mungi plans to project his nephew as his successor and he starts his search for Kamal and hires a detective Johnny English who will helps him to get Kamal in 20 days. Mungi promises that Johnny will get Rs 50 lacs for searching for Kamal.

Johnny gets an NRI whom he asks to claim that he is Kamal and when the NRI reaches the river Ganges to put his mothers’ ashes into the river in the front of his uncle another Kamal appears in front of all. Second Kamal is the struggling actor and he used to stay in the detective’s house sometime back as a paying guest and when Johnny is to reveal the actor Kamal, he speaks out some information about his mother that could be known only by a son.

Then the girl Shivani comes and she too claim to be Kamal and then come the girl friend of NRI who speaks out incidents that claims that the NRI boy is the original Kamal.

One day the four youngsters plan to run away with the old man’s money who is in search of his successor Kamal but to their surprise they find that the old man is actually is himself a gangster and then Mungi compels the four to play his successor and help him in beat his rival don Fursat Lala..

The story is how the rival Fursat Lala knows that the four are not his successor and the fight turns into hilarious sequences.
