The Zee Cine Awards 2008 function turned out to be a horrific experience for many bollywood stars. Shatrughan Sinha was asked to join the show to give away the award of the Best Actor to Shah Rukh Khan but later he was informed that he was to give the award to Best Actress, Kareena Kapoor and that made him furious enough to leave the show with his wife.
