Music Review: Woodstock Villa

Anu Malik has composed the music of the movie “Woodstock Villa” and the movie being a suspense thriller has complete arrangements for energized music. After getting a series of dull albums in the last few weeks this one comes out to impress audiences.

“Dhoka” –The song has been sung by Aanchal Dutt and it maintains the style of being a seductive fear thrill song that has been perfectly matched by the lyrics. The song has been shot on debutant Neha Uberoi, who is playing the lead role in the movie.

“Dhoka” (Club remix)-The remix version goes well with the need of party beats .The remix version has been done by DJ Nawed and Nikhil Chinappa.

“Sawan Mein Laag Gayi”- Mika sings the song “Sawan Mein Laag Gayi” that has added beats and the song is average in outcome.

“Sawan Mein Laag Gayi” (club-remix)-The remix version of the song “Sawan Mein Laag Gayi” (that is an old song) has been done by DJ Nawed and Nikhil Chinappa and the song gets too high in beats.

“Raakh Ho Ja” – The song has been sung by Shibani Kashyap and electronic music is prevalent in the song. The song has been written by Manoj Muntashir .This one is also a seductive kind of song and is impressive one.

“Sone De Maa” – The indi pop band Aryans (DJ Narain, Sadu, Yakub and Sunny) who started with their music from the songs of “Kyun” get back for this song in which Sanjay Dutt appears on screen as a Rock star holding guitar and the song also has a lot of rock music with lots of power chords and drum beats. This is full of energy.

“Koi Chala Ja Raha Hai”- The song has been sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and the lyrics are of Virag Mishra and the impression of the song is brilliant though the song has a sad note.

“Yeh Pyar Hai”- Shaan sings this song “Yeh Pyar Hai” and Aanchal Dutt matches his voice’s tone to get along and make it good to listen.

The album has few good songs that have the potential to reach charts.
