The last week’s releases were “Mr. Black and Mr. White”,” Pranali” and “Anamika”. All the three movies did not have top bollywood star attraction, the movies were not good comedy or action movies and therefore the audience did not reach theatres to watch the movies.
“Anamika” was a horror movie in intial part and the script of the movie is a suspense thriller based on the story of a book Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier and the lead actor in the movie Dino Moreo,is known for being expressionless onscreen (that matched the need of the movie script) . In the movie Anamika, the director Anant Mahadevan couldn’t create a neat movie of three hour out of the script, the movie did not get audience.
The second movie “Mr. Black and Mr. White” was similar to the previous Suniel Shetty’s hit movie Gopi Kishan that released in the 90’s decade but the movie Mr. Black and Mr. White couldn’t get audience because the movie’s script is old and it couldn’t deliver humor for complete three hours.
The movie “Pranali” was based on the story of Devdasi and the cast of the movie is unknown to people .The movie “Pranali” was not released in North India and as the social system shown in the movie is not prevalent in North India and the north Indian audience wouldn’t have identified with the movie .The movie was released only in Mumbai and it couldn’t get audience .Even the other casts in the movie were not attractive enough to get audience to theatres.
Earlier week’s released movie ‘Tashan ‘,the Yash Raj Banner movie couldn’t get released in multiplexes because of the disagreement between Aditya Chopra and the multiplex owners and the movie “Tashan” was rejected by the audience. In the third week “Krazzy 4” is getting average collections and same is the performance of the Pakistani movie “Khuda Ke Liye”.
