The story of the movie “Humsey Hai Jahaan” is about Sameer Khanna, who goes to Singapore and gets the job of a recovery agent for his boss Rosario, who runs a racket of nightclubs. Sameer leads his life on cheating people and one day finds himself in extreme need for money that is needed by his brother. The boss Rosario refuses to help Sameer and he makes a plan to kidnap the daughter of a super star Gyaneshwar Singh to get money in ransom.

Sameer plans that initially he will make false promises of love to the daughter of the super star and later kidnap her to get the money from her father .In the process Sameer gets attracted to the daughter, Esha of the multimillionaire super star and starts feeling guilty for doing wrong to her but since he is need of money he convinces Esha to make her believe that he loves her and is running away with her.

He takes Esha to Sentosa Island to make his father believe that she been kidnapped and he will have to pay the ranson to get her back. Esha loves Sameer and she agrees to get to the island with him.

Gyaneshwar Singh makes a phone call to his friend Rosario to get back her kidnapped daughter and Rosario promises that his employee, Sameer will get his daughter back. Later a drug dealer gang kidnaps Esha and makes demands to give Esha back. Sameer tries to rescue Esha from the hands of the drug dealer group and talks to Rosario to sent the money to make her rescue from the criminal group.

But the reality of Sameer comes out in front of Esha and she is not agreeing to let Sameer to get the money and for that she even agrees to presume and spread that she is dead. Esha wants Sameer to payback for his guilt and people are running with loaded guns after Sameer as they want Esha back.

How the things will get finalized is the story of the film.
