Music Review: “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane”

Aamir Khan is busy promoting nephew Imraan Khan’s debuting movie “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane” but Imraan will have to compete initially with the debuting Harman Baweja ,who is son of movie maker Harry Baweja and Harman will be seen in the movie “Love Story 2050.“

The music of the film “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane” has been composed by A.R. Rahman and the film is directorial debut of Abbas Tyrewala. The music of Rahman is not a letdown.

‘Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi’- The song has been sung by Rashid Ali and his voice is effective and lyrics of the song are also impressive.

‘Pappu Can’t Dance’- A set of singers Anupama, Blazee, Benny Dayal, Tanvi, Darshana, Satish Subramanium and Aslam come together to sing for this number and the theme of the song is fun at college campus. This one is also entertaining.

‘Pappu Can’t Dance’(remix version)-The remix version of the song is also impressive.

‘Jaane Tu Mera Kya Hai (Aditi)‘- The song has been sung in female voice by Runa and is average song with good music composition. The same song has been made into a male voice and it has been sung by Sukhwinder Singh and both the versions are just average in outcome.

‘Nazrein Milaana Nazrein Churaana‘- This is refreshing song with youthful music and has been sung by group of singers Benny Dayal, Satish Chakravarthy, Naresh Iyer, Darshana, Shwetha, Tanvi, Bhargavi, Anupama. This is a good song in the album.

‘Tu Bole Main Boloon’- The title song has been sung by Rahman himself and is youthful fun teasing song. The musical instruments sounds are really impressive. This is a good song.

‘Kahin To Hogi Ho’-The song has been sung by Vasundara Das and Rashid Ali and it is a lovely romantic song.

The album is altogether good for its youthful fresh notes and sounds. The composition is again excellent by Rahman.
