Ismail Darbar is the composer of the music of the film “Mehbooba” and the lyrics of the songs are written by Anand Bakshi.

“Tu Meri Mehbooba” – The lyrics of the songs is meaningful and the voice of Udit Narayan on the song is impressive. The song has romantic music and the sound of instruments like piano, violin chorals can be heard.

“Khawabon Ki Rani” – The lyrics of the song are about a man imagining his dream girl and the music of flute and violin is expressive. Again the romantic song has the voice of Udit Narayan and that is impressive.

“Dilruba” –The theme of the song is about a boy chasing a girl like in old movies and the music of the song is average and this song also has voice of Udit Narayan.

“Yaar Tera Shukriya”-Lots of beats in the 80’s fashion comes in the song with Alka Yagnik singing this song that is basically a romantic love song with high impact.

“Babuji “- The song has voice of the actors Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan and Alka Yagnik sings the song that has lyrics that are naughty. It is a kind of drama song.

“Kuch Kar Lo” –The song is present in the album in three versions that include Kavita Subramanyam, Shankar Mahadevan and Sonu Nigam singing their version of the song. The song is striking with two singers getting together to make a impressive combination.

“Achcha to Ab Main Chalta Hoon” – The song is about a young man singing about his love for a girl on stage. The song has been sung by Sonu Nigam.

“Deewana Main to Deewana”- The “qawalli” song is appealing and lyrics are meaningful. The song has voices of Aslam Sabri, Sonu Nigam and Sukhwinder Singh.

The song of the album seems to be backdated and reached expiry. None of the song is fresh one but the melody in a few songs is charming.
