Music Review: Thodi Life Thoda Magic

Vinay Tiwari is the music composer for the film “Thodi Life Thoda Magic” and the previous album composed by Tiwari was “Strangers.” The album doesn’t have chartbusters but a few songs will suit the storyline of the film and will go well with the movie script.

‘Thoda Sa Gum Ho Thodi Khushi Ho’ –The song ‘Thoda Sa Gum Ho Thodi Khushi Ho’ has been sung by Sonu Nigam. The lyrics of the song are expressive and meaningful and the lyrics have been written by Sunil Jogi. There are three versions of the song, one is the sad version in the voice of Sonu Nigam , the second one is a remix version and third is a club remix version of the song that is full of disco beats and has been made to promote the film.

‘Zindagi Zindagi Kaisi Hai Tu’ – The song ‘Zindagi Zindagi Kaisi Hai Tu’ has been sung by Suhas and Saahil and is full of inputs from high sound instruments. The song theme is about the metro city high life. The lyrics of the song have been supported by director Anand L.Rai. The theme of the song is metro city, life and magic.

‘Yeh Mast Hawa Jo’ – The singers Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam and Vinay get together to sing this love song ‘Yeh Mast Hawa Jo’ and the song gets average in outcome with low arrangements.

‘Tune Kahi Aur Maine Maani’ – The song ‘Tune Kahi Aur Maine Maani’ has been sung by Kailash Kher and the folk lyrics written by Irshad Kamil makes the song rustic. The theme of the song is about pain after separation in love. Another version called the remix version of the song is also present in the album that is also in the voice of Kailash Kher.

‘Maana Yeh Aaj Hamne’ – The song is in the voice of Shaan, Vijay and Swati and the theme of the song is party melodrama in past bollywood styles. The singers Vijay and Swati are new to singing and the song has low overall impression because of the presence of little musical arrangements.

The songs of the album are not effective and melodious enough to reach the charts but the album will help the composer to grow as solo composer. The music of the film “Thodi Life Thoda Magic” was released by Amitabh Bachchan in a grand show. Though the film has low star attractions and the movie has not been promoted well by the makers.
