Music Review: Kismat Konnection

Pritam Chakraborty and Aziz Mirza together make a fine romantic album of the year “Kismat Konnection”.

Aai Paapi (Tu Hai Meri Soniye) – Aai Paapi (Tu Hai Meri Soniye) is a hip hop number with lot of energy and beats and the song has been sung by Neeraj Sridhar. This is a high impact song and the combination of Pritam and Shabbir Ahmad is effective. A remix version of the song is also present in the album.

Aai Paapi (Tu Hai Meri Soniye) (Club Remix) –The remixed song is in the voices of Shaan, Vijay, Swati and the high beats increase the energy effect.

Bakhuda Tumhi Ho - Atif Aslam and Alka Yagnik together make the song emotional and lovely romantic song. The song is also impressive and the voice of Atif Aslam fits the romantic mood of the song though the original song has low beats that come up as gaps and the remixed versions (club and lounge remixed) in the voice of Atif Aslam and Alka Yagnik is high in beats.

Move Your Body Now –Two versions of the song “Move Your Body Now” are present in the album .The first version is in the voice of Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam and Vinay
The lyrics are written by Shabbir Ahmed and the song is Punjabi bhangra song with embedded western beats.

Move Your Body Now II-The second version is in the voices of Shaan, Suheil, Hard Kaur and Akriti Kakkar and this one is impressive for the presence of hip –hop kind of effect. The song has been remixed by DJ Adeel.

Is This Love (Kahin Na Laage) – The lyrics of the song “Is This Love (Kahin Na Laage)” is meaningful and the voices of Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal makes the song another romantic number in the album full of melody .The song also has remixed version with additional beats.

Soniye Ve (Dhak Dhak Dhak) – The album has guest composers Sajid-Wajid for the song “Soniye Ve (Dhak Dhak Dhak)”, and the song is a Punjabi bhangra song in the voice of Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chuhan. The song also has a remixed version that has additional claps sounds and festival beats.

The album has basically five songs and all the songs have been made with additional remixed versions. The five songs are not of different type but the album comes out to be rather average in outcome.
