Music Review: Zindagi Tere Naam

The film “Zindagi Tere Naam “will bring the 80’s pair Mithun Chakraborty and Ranjeeta in lead roles. Both the actors are veteran and the subject of the film will match the maturity of the lead actors. The music of the film has been composed by Sajid-Wajid. The film is a low profile, low budget entertainer.

‘Tu Mujhe Soch Kabhi’ – The movie is expected to have a emotional script and the songs has been made to match the theme. The song ‘Tu Mujhe Soch Kabhi’ has been sung by KK and the lyrics of the song has been written by Jalees Sherwani. The song has been made into a Ghazal.

‘Milne Ko Nahi Aaye’-This melodious song has both English and Hindi lyrics and the music of the song have western influence. The theme of the song is love and romance. The song has been made into three versions. The first version is duet by Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan and the song is also present in female version in the voice of Sunidhi Chauhan and male version is present in the voice of Shaan.

‘Trishna Trishna Dil’ - Sunidhi Chauhan gives her voice for the song ‘Trishna Trishna Dil’ by the Pakistani band Fuzon vocalist Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan. The song is high in tunes and the song has classical sounds as well. The song is made to go with the script.

‘Kya Khata Ho Gayee’ (qawalli)-The song ‘Kya Khata Ho Gayee’ has been made into a qawalli, sung by Afzal Sabri and rustic voiced Richa Sharma. The song has emotions; love as themes and the lyrics have been written to match the qawalli arrangement.

‘Tauba Tauba’ –Sunidhi Chauhan gives her voice to this item number that has the vocals of Wajid Khan in the background. The song is impressive energetic one.

The album has few emotional above average songs but the low profile album has not been promoted well.
