Box office competition of “Love Story 2050” and “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na”

In the promotional of the film “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, “ Imran and Genelia can be seen ridiculing a hero with biceps and a motorbike .The promotional are directed towards the hero of the film “Love Story 2050” from which Harman Baweja is debuting and Harman Baweja has the personality to attract audience .In “Love Story 2050” Harman looks similar to Hrithik and in the film “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na”, Imran is doing dance steps similar to Aamir Khan.

Last year the makers of the films “Om Shanti Om” and ”Saawariya” kept attacking each other and the result at the box office was disastrous for Sanjay Leela Bhansali ‘s “Saawariya.” If the film hadn’t been hyped, “Saawariya” would have got praised for the striking music. Even for the promotion of the film “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na” and “Love Story 2050 “, the film makers are attacking each other.

The film “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na” was promoted in the Salman Khan’s reality show “Dus Ka Dum” and the Harry Baweja accused Aamir of using his influence with Salman Khan leading to cancellation of the promotion of the film “Love Story 2050 from the “Dus Ka Dum” show that was scheduled to be attended by Priyanka and Harman Baweja. Aamir has an answer to all accusation he said that audience cannot be stopped going into theatres if they like a film and they cannot be forced to watch the film they did not like.

Aamir Khan has left no stone unturned to organize a grand premier for the film “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na” where he will be calling all the biggies of the bollywood. When two films are promoted to show them equally competitive, it may happen that both the films don’t get benefit. The two film “Love Story 2050” and “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na” will be competing on the box-office on July 4 and the fate of the films can only be decided by the audience but the promotions of the films were done in a competitive way. The marketing of a film raises the expectation of the audience and when the audience does not find the film up to their expectation, the film is rejected.
