The music of the film “Rock On!! “has been composed by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
The film is in news for the debuting actor Farhan Akhtar, who once made the hit movie “Dil Chahta Hai.” The album doesn’t have great music to attract bollywood audience to watch the film but it appears to be an experimented unprepared raw rock album coming out of college team.

‘Socha Hai’ –The track is a rock song with instrument sounds similar to college music and the song is in the voice of Farhan Akhtar. This one is average song that looks inspired from Jimi Hendrix’. The lyrics of the song are good.

‘Pichle Saat Dinon Mein’ – The vocals of the song are impressive and the tune is also good .This is also a kind of college song. The song is also in voice of Farhan Akhtar.

‘Rock On!!’ – The title song tries to be like a fresh youth number but the outcome is average.

‘Ye Tumhari Meri Baatein’- The song ‘Ye Tumhari Meri Baatein’ has some music of bollywood kind and it is in the voice of Dominique Carejo. The rock element is also present in the song.

‘Zehreeley’ – The song is like shouting on mike by Suraj Jagan.

‘Tum Ho Toh’ – The song is in voice of Farhan Akhtar and it is again too much a rock number.

‘Sindbad The Sailor’ –This is a different song in voice of Farhan Akhtar and Raman Mahadevan. The theme of the song is to get inspired from the sindbad.

‘Phir Dekhiye’ - Caralisa Monteiro sings the song and this one also has the sound of guitar and this is an average song.

The songs of the album will not be reasonable to average Hindi movie audience in the north Indian belt. The college goers and those into Indian rock music may like to hear the songs.
