The film “Mumbai Meri Jaan” is a film produced by UTV Motion Pictures and it is based on the story of terrorism in Mumbai city. The film is a tribute to the people who have suffered in the attacks on the city by the terrorist. There are many families and people in Mumbai who suffered the terrorist attacks since 1993.The blasts have made parents to loose their single kids, loose family heads and made many handicapped.

The film will be based on the tragedies revolving in the families who have suffered loses during the attacks. These people were not on warfront or they were not posing any dangers to anybody, they are simply hard working individuals, working daily to get their meals and they suffered the trauma of getting attacked by the terrorist. The people displayed in the film are daily vendor, retired man, a corporate man and a reporter.

A signature campaign was organized to support the message of terror sufferers and the film “Mumbai Meri Jaan” has also been made to send the message regarding the people who suffered the attacks to the audience. The film will have R. Madhavan, Irrfan Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Kay Kay Menon and Paresh Rawal in lead roles and

The story of the film is not about the leaders but it is about the strength of common man when he faces challenges and how a incident completely changes ones life and his thought. The film will also show that how the common people fought with the terror forces by adapting to new circumstances and adapting to the situations after the attacks. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and it will be released on 22 August.
