Music Review: C KKompany

Bappa Lahiri and Anand Raj Anand joins together to compose music for the film C KKompany. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor and is directed by Sachin Yardi. The lyrics of the songs are of Anand Raj Anand and Shabbir Ahmed. One song of the album has been sung by Sanjay Dutt.

‘Khoka’ –The song is about getting a crore and basically to get money. The song has been written by Shabbir Ahmed’s and the lyrics have been written in a way to generate comedy and make it look cool. The song is in the voices of Bappi Lahiri, Reema Lahiri and Mika Singh (who is considered fit for these kinds of songs).The song has a club remix version that has some more energy into it and added DJ sounds and claps.

‘Speaker Baje’ –This is a Punjabi bhangra song with energetic sounds of dhol and it is similar to many of the punbjai songs The song is in voice of Sunidhi Chauhan and Anand Raj Anand and the lyrics of the song has also been written by Anand himself. Another version of the song called a Dhiol Mix is also present in the album. The disposition of the song is to generate fun and comedy.

‘C Kkompnay’ –The title song of the album is in voice of Sanjay Dutt in which he introduces the key players of the company and the comedy associated to the characters. This is a kind of hip hop number having funky lyrics. Additional disco beats have been added to the remixed version of the song.

‘Jaane Kya’ – Shreya Ghosal and KK have given their voice to the song and the song is a kind of soft rock with guitar and piano sounds. This is a romantic song and lyrics are fine emotional ones.

The album has lots of comedy and fun feel but album is less in music.
