Music Review: Hijack

The music of the film Hijack has been composed by Justin-Uday and the lyrics of the songs have been written by Kumaar. The film stars Shiney Ahuja who will for the first time be doing actions in the film that is based on a plane hijack story.

‘Aksar’- The song ‘Aksar’ is a romantic song having melodious guitar sounds and singing by Kay Kay. There are four version of the song in the album. “Aksar” ,” Aksar Sad” Version - in the voice of Shaan and Shaan sings the sad version in a an impressively emotional tone , “Aksar Remix” –the remixed version is lovely for the additional beats and disco theme, “Aksar Unplugged” is best of all the versions and it is in the voice of Shaan.

‘Dekh Dekh’ – The song is a dance track in the energetic voice of Sunidhi Chauhan, Suraj Jagan and Joi. The song has extra beats of instruments as the music of the song is dominating. The song has another version called the club version, suited to the needs of the party and clubs.

‘Koi Na Jaane’ – Shilpa Rao sings the song in Arabic tunes and the song is basically remembering the god in the time of trouble.

‘Hijack Theme’ – Lots of drums and guitars sounds can be heard in the theme song that is high in beats and voice of Suraj Jagan and Uday can be heard in the song. Sound of police, ATC ,aero plane can be heard in the theme song.

The album has less number of songs that have been repeated and remixed. But the script of the movie will match the song types and the songs are as per the need of the movie.
