After doing “Omkara” Kareena will be appearing opposite Ajay in second film,”Golmaal Returns.” The film is a sequel of the comedy “Golmaal” that was a high grosser when it was released in 2006.The film has been shot in many locations in South Africa and Goa.

The film is about Gopal who lives with his wife Ekta, sister Esha and a brother-in-law Lucky who is dumb. Gopal once spends his night on a boat with a beautiful woman Meera, whom he saved from a few attackers when he found her in problem on returning from his office.

Gopal gets back to his home the next day and he meets his wife Ekta, who just can’t believe that his husband stayed on the boat to save life of a woman. Ekta is an ideal watcher believer of Saas Bahu Television shows that have been showing house fights and she starts thinking that her husband is flirting with his office staff.

Gopal couldn’t convince Ekta of the incident he faced and he makes story of some Anthony Gonsalves ,who is his friend and he tries to escape his wife’s fury but his wife couldn’t believe her husband and she writes a letter to Anthony’s address to cross check the story.

By the time Gopal convinces his friend Laxman to pretend that he is Anthony and he was with them on the boat. Laxman agrees to Gopal but somebody named Anthony stays on the address that Gopal said to his wife and the real Anthony arrives to Ekta’s home.

In another event Gopal is shocked to find a dead body at the place where he saved Meera. A police team headed by Maadhav is investigating the death of the person and Gopal finds himself in mesh of troubles that generate comedy.
