Music Review: Saas Bahu aur Sensex

The film “Saas Bahu aur Sensex “ will be distributed by Hollywood’s Warner Bros. and it is said to be a comedy film in which housewives start investing in world stock market. The film released its promotional on television and music of the film has been composed by Bipin and Blaze.

“Abhi Abhi Jo Tu Aayi Hai” – The song is composed by Randolph Correa and the song is in voice of Jaaved Ali. The western inference is prevalent in the song and lyrics of the song is by Raqeeb Alam, that is different and entertaining. The song is romantic number and it looks to be coming from some Hollywood movie.

“Whats up India” – “Whats up India” is a rap song sung by Blaaze. Blaaze has even written the song and the song is average. A remixed version of “Whats up India” is also present in the album.

“Mujh Mein Nigaah Daal De”- “Mujh Mein Nigaah Daal De” is composed by Randolph Correa and it has also been made into western style. The voice of Monica can be heard in the song and it appears to be a background number. The song has disco beats. There is another version in English of “Mujh Mein Nigaah Daal De” that is also in the voice of Monica. The final outcome of the song is average.

“Mithri Mithri” – The song is a Punjabi Bhangra number filled with lots of dhol beats and the lyrics of the song is by Raqeeb Alam and Shona Urvashi and the music of the track has been composed by Bipin Panchal. The song is ok.

The album does not have many songs and it seems the movie is basically not using the music to promote the film. The music is not attractive enough to call audience to theatres. Since the film is about daughter –in –laws in stock exchange, you have no scope for item numbers and romantic songs .The promotional of the film are attractive.
