Music Review: Drona

Another superhero film ready to release is “Drona” that will show Generation X getting superpowers. The promotional of the film has been released and the clips look attractive. Dhruv Ghanekar has composed the music of the song. The name of the film “Drona “signifies powerful teacher, as it is taken from the epic Mahabharata where Drona was teacher of the five Pandavas and his students won war against him.

“Drona” – Vaibhav Modi has written the song and the song has the voice of Sunidhi Chauhan, as if she has been chanting the word “Drona.” The song has sounds to signify the presence of a superhuman that gets power from the supernatural elements. The song has been choreographed on Priyanka Chopra..

“Oop Cha”-The song is in the voice of Sunidhi Chauhan and the electronic beats are very prominent in the song. The song is high in beats and is lovely to listen. The song is also present in a fare – play remix version. The lyrics are like a hip hop number.

“Bandagi” – This is a melodious romantic number in the voice of Sunidhi Chauhan and Roop Kumar Rathod and it is lovely to hear. The song is also present in a “lounge” remixed version and the lyrics are also very impressive.

“Nanhe Nanhe”- Sadhna Sargam gives her voice to the song that has been composed by Dhruv and the song is sweet depicting motherly affection. Nandini Shirkar makes her presence in the song.

“Khushi”- The song has classical chorals in the voice of Suzzane D’mello, Dean, Francois Castellino, and Sunaina Gupta and the main voice is of Shaan. The song is another impressive one of the album. The high beats musical instrument makes it worth hearing.

The songs of the album will get audience of many kinds and if the movie sustains long in theatres, music stay long in charts.
