Music Review: Fashion

The Madhur Bhandarkar’s film “Fashion” is based on glamour world and the confidence of people who wear tiny dresses and walk on stage, has been installed in the music of the film. Salim-Sulaiman has composed the music for the film “Fashion”.

‘Fashion Ka Jalwa’- The track had high orchestra sounds and voice of Satya Hinduja, Robert “Bob” Omulo accompanying Sukhwinder Singh. The beats are western and Indian mixed. A remixed version of the song is also present in the album that is more like narration.

‘Mar Jaava’ - The song is invoice of Shruti Pathak and it can be said to be one of the best track of the album. Shruti’s voice is lovely in the song and she makes the song appear sensuous and mystifying. The song has a remixed version and it is one of the ideal party numbers. The song is a love song written by Sulaiman.

‘Aashiyana’ –This is a love song with high western beats. The song has a remixed version by DJ Amyth and the song has the Fashion world effect in its outcome. Salim has given his voice for the song.

‘Kuchh Khaas’ –‘Kuchh Khaas’ is another love song with western arrangement, high pitches and high beats. The song is in voice of Mohit Chauhan and Neha Bhasin and it is also present in a remixed version for party listeners.

‘The Fashion Theme’ – The theme has the sound of santoor and club beats mixed with violin and it comes with the thumping sound that is generated when models walk on ramp on stage. This one is powerful and impressive track and it suits the theme of the film. A remixed version of the song is present in the album and the remixing has been done by Karsh Kale and Medeival Punditz in an imposing way.

The music of the film identify with the script of the film “Fashion.”
