Chetan Bhagat’s script based on the book ‘One Night @ The Call Centre’ is a brilliant story but the three hour movie “Hello “ could not bring out the feelings from the book, into live drama and emotions. To depict the story of a night in a call centre where you have many youngsters struggling with their personal and professional life, you need many episodes and the short cut version comes out to be an abrupt depiction of the story .The out of context songs, couldn’t make up with the problems of the show.

The story is about youngsters working in a call centre. Shyam do not want to loose his girlfriend Priyanka and Priyanka’s mother wants her to marry a rich NRI. Esha is an aspiring model and she is working at a call centre until she realizes her ambition. Varun is in love with Esha and she is not interested in love. Radhika is married and is troubled by her mother-in-law and her husband, who is into an extra marital affair. Military Uncle is in problem because he is disallowed to meet his grandkid.

Then one day the boss arrives and he asks the six employees in the call centre, to increase business, if they want to stay back in their jobs. All these problems get sorted in a magical way when these people get some amazing telephone call on a night. All are happy after a night at the call centre.

What happens in the call centre on the particular night is narrated by Katrina Kaif to Salman and Kat comes in the movie for one particular sequence although Salman stays there to write the story and to sing the number ‘Bang Bang.’ Some moments are impressively sad and performed well but most of the movie is not smooth. The magic that changes every body’s life appears feeble.

Sharman is lovely in the role, girls in the call centre Amrita, Isha and Gul Panag are also lovely and Sohail is impressive. Others have less to do in the movie. Salman Khan looks clumsy. The film has got loopholes that are not properly sorted out. The direction is poor and the movie will not get encouraging response from audience.
