Govinda offers religious prayers in the golden hearts of Rajasthan
Govinda along with his family visited the Salasar temple in Churu district in Rajasthan.
Dressed in a golden kurta-pyjama and a red colour stole, Govinda first chanted Vedic mantras with the pundits after which he was given the holy offering.
Salasar Balaji is a shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman. A photograph of the god and a shawl were presented to Govinda, a local priest at the temple said.
“During the prayers Govinda also offered a coconut at the temple premises to make his wishes come true,” the priest said.
He said the film star also expressed his desire to revisit the temple soon. Govinda was also given a traditional welcome and was garlanded by the temple administration.
