Directors fighting over Upen Patel

Dont get the heading wrong, the handsome hunk from UK has become a hot commodity in Bollywood for sure! Upen is the bone of contention between directors Vipul Shah and Suneel Darshan. Reportedly, Suneel Darshan is said to have advised Upen not to work in Vipul Shah’s much-awaited release Namaste London.

But, here’s a twist. On one hand, rumours are rife about Darshan’s advice to Upen, on the other, he completely denies doing the same. “i’ve better things to do than to involve myself with what films Upen is doing.

Upen does come to me for advice. When he does, i tell what’s right,” Darshan said. Meantime, Vipul Shah says, “i can’t imagine why Suneel Darshan would warn Upen against doing my film. if Suneel wishes Upen well, as i’m sure he does, he’d see Namaste London as a big step ahead for Upen,” Upen Patel plays the lead in Suneel Darshan’s next release Shakalaka Boom Boom.
