The lead role in the movie of Chamki will be played by Priyanka Chopra and for the lead actor Vivek Oberoi was contacted but the deal couldn’t be made with the actor because Vivek Oberoi asked for a huge price from the director for doing the movie. Shyam Benegal couldn’t justify paying the asked price money to the actor and reverted back his offer from the actor Vivek Oberoi.
